Call of the Wild Festival is turning up the heat once again with another explosive batch of international artists ready to bring fire, attitude and full‑throttle rock to Lincolnshire Showground next May.

 Organisers are absolutely thrilled to confirm the “Kings of Sleaze” CRASHDIET will return to headline the main stage on Sunday 30^th May. 

Sweden’s CRASHDÏET are pioneers of glam and sleaze metal, a band forged through turbulence, tragedy, and sheer determination. With a career marked by line-up changes, personal losses, and highs and lows on the global stage, they have consistently risen from the ashes — true survivors of the rock scene.

Their sound is a fearless collision of 80s arena rock swagger — think Guns N’ Roses, Kiss, and Skid Row — infused with a raw punk attitude, solidifying their role in the revival of sleaze and hair metal. Their debut album, Rest in Sleaze (2005, Universal Music), earned critical acclaim and launched their career in Sweden. After the heart-breaking loss of frontman Dave Lepard in 2006, the remaining members kept the flame alive, recruiting new vocalists, touring worldwide, and delivering six more studio albums to their dedicated fanbase.

Over the years, CRASHDÏET have collaborated with rock icons including Mick Mars (Mötley Crüe) and Michael Starr (Steel Panther), cementing their place in the glam metal pantheon.

Today, CRASHDÏET hits the stage with a solid line-up, anchored by original member Martin Sweet, promising high-octane performances that honor their legacy while pushing the band into exciting new territory. While Peter London is taking a longer break from the band, Chris Young has stepped in on bass for this album cycle, embracing the challenging role with energy and dedication. Fresh music is on the horizon, with fans set to experience the same signature attitude and intensity that has defined CRASHDÏET from day one.

Staying with Swedish Glam Metal, it is an honour to welcome Smoking Snakes to COTW

 Meet the Gothenburg-based sleaze metal band that's turning heads and making waves in the rock scene. Formed in 2022 by Brett Martin (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Andy Delarge (bass, backing vocals), Mackey Gee (drums), and Rob Raw (lead guitar), they are the next generation of hard-hitting, guitar-driven rock 'n' roll.

 Influenced by the big arena rock bands of the 80s like W.A.S.P, RATT, Dokken, and Kiss, their music is a fresh and modern take on classic sleaze metal. From catchy hooks to heavy riffs and powerful vocals, they've got a sound that's all their own.

Two’s company, three is an absolute dream come true. Our third Swedish band confirmed to join the line up at COTW are absolute legends & know a thing or two about “Lips n Hips”. Give a hearty cheer for legends, Electric Boys.

 Electric Boys were formed 1987 in Stockholm, Sweden and released their critically acclaimed and trend breaking debut “Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride” 1989.

It was released internationally about a year later, including five new songs produced by monster producer Bob Rock (Metallica and Mötley Crüe).

Electric Boys toured tenaciously in Europe and in the U.S. while the song “All Lips N’ Hips” hit the Billboard chart and was played on heavy rotation on MTV.

 The follow up, “Groovus Maximus” was released in 1992 with the single “Mary In the Mystery World” being a radio hit.

The album was recorded in the legendary “Beatles studio” Abbey Road in London and the band continued touring mainly in the U.S.A., Great Britain and Sweden.

 Southern rock diamonds, Preacher Stone are a band we’ve been keen to bring to COTW for a while. Thrilled to finally have them confirmed.

Riotous, Rebellious & ready to tear our main stage apart, Warrior Soul will bring a live show like no other. In your face raw rock n roll, super-charged & unleashed.

We gave those at COTW 26 a naughty little taster of what Bullets & Octane can deliver, so it should come as no surprise that we have brought them back to headline the Southall Lawless stage. We can’t wait! Can you?

Scotty Austin (10 years fronting Saving Abel) is a southern‑rock powerhouse with grit, melody and attitude. A very exciting addition to our Friday line-up.

Perfect Beasts is a band that refuses to play by the rules. Their songs are adventurous yet accessible, driven by emotive, primal vocals and guitar sounds unlike anything heard before - thanks in part to the use of cutting-edge synth guitar and modern music technology.
