‘ABSOLVA’ is a uniquely explosive British Hard Rock / Melodic Metal band, fronted by ‘CHRISTOPHER APPLETON’, an incredibly charismatic performer & singer/guitarist carrying the spirit of ‘GARY MOORE / JOE SATRIANI’ into the metal arena, whilst projecting his melodic vocals and stage presence as a masterful & energetic frontman carrying the torch of ‘RONNIE JAMES DIO’. Charm & humor is also something that ‘APPLETON’ certainly brings to the show making the show always engaging and entertaining, an art of frontman that is not seen very often anymore…

Accompanied by ‘TOM ATKINSON’, who is an imposing & powerful guitar player sharing rhythm and lead guitar duties who goes on to complement ‘CHRIS APPLETON’ with some electrifying guitar work and harmony vocals. This results in the delightful impact of the ‘TWIN-GUITAR-ATTACK’ and harmony guitars reminiscent of ‘IRON MAIDEN’ & ‘THIN LIZZY’ at their best.

The ABSOLVA rhythm section is made up of the true hard rock drummer ‘MARTIN ‘The Machine’ MCNEE’ who is often described as the love child of ‘JOHN BONHAM’ & ‘BILL WARD’, bringing technique, groove & skill. Alongside APPLETON’s brother and possibly one of the best bass players in the rock world today, ‘LUKE APPLETON’ with his undeniable nod to his influences of ‘IRON MAIDEN’, ‘JUDAS PRIEST’ & ‘MEGADETH’.
